Hebron House
Our Story
For more than 40 years, Hebron Housing Services has been an advocate and a resource in our community. Today, they are the largest nonprofit provider of services to unhoused men, women, and children in Waukesha County. Their mission is to restore hope and dignity by providing services to those struggling with homeless in our community. Voted “2024 Nonprofit of the Year” by the Waukesha County Business Alliance.
Our Services
To combat homelessness in Waukesha County, Hebron Housing offers a wide variety of services to individuals and families. These include three home-like emergency shelters, rent assistance, affordable housing, a coordinated entry process, recovery programs and a Youth System Navigator for 18-24 year olds. For more details on any of the above services visit their Website, www.hebronhouse.org.
How YOU Can Help Hebron Housing Services
Attend Hebron Housing Services’ Annual Gala
The 2025 event will be on Saturday, November 8, at the Milwaukee Marriott West in Waukesha. Their largest fundraising event of the year, this elegant evening typically features Appetizers, Open Bar, Raffles and Silent Auction, followed by Plated Dinner with Wine, Program and Live Auction. The evening wraps up with Live Music and a Cash Bar. Formal attire is requested, and all proceeds support Hebron’s emergency shelters. To purchase tickets or browse/bid/buy auction items, or to donate, visit www.hebronhouse.org/events. Volunteers are needed to help ensure the success of this event! They look to fill several different shifts and roles, which include: setting up, tearing down, greeting guests, checking coats, assisting with the silent auction, and more.
Provide Gifts Through UNITY's Angel Trees
“Angel Trees” at our COL and CTK campuses are an easy way to give at Christmastime. Each tree is adorned with tags for small thank you gifts for staff and residents at our partner ministries, as well as presents for kids at our partner churches. Angel Trees are typically adorned with tags by Advent Fest (first Friday in December), with wrapped and labeled gifts due by mid-December.
Be Part Of The Team That Makes Christmas Dinner For Residents
In addition to a Christmas Dinner Coordinator, we are always in need of a crew to shop and cook for the families at Hebron over the holidays. Cooking occurs on the days just before Christmas.
