Celebrate the Advent Season with UNITY!
Welcome to the UNITY Advent Page, your one-stop shop for all things Advent! The Advent color is blue which conveys the season’s theme of preparation, waiting and, most of all, the hope in the arrival of Christ. We have a busy month of fun, fellowship and volunteer opportunities for everyone. Scroll down to see all UNITY happenings leading up to Christmas Day. Be sure to visit this page frequently for the latest Advent videos featuring UNITY families reading special passages to highlight the anticipation of the coming of our Lord.

Advent Fest
Thank you to an amazing team who planned our wonderful tradition of Advent Fest, along with all our craft leaders, those who shared their gifts through music or serving and to everyone who was a part of a night that is so meaningful and joy-filled!
Advent Fest is our traditional kickoff of the Advent Season which falls on the first Friday in December. It's an evening of food, fellowship and fun beginning with a potluck dinner followed by a brief service in the sanctuary and then craft-making delightful Christmas decorations. Did I forget to mention "Cookies"! Our next Advent Fest will be held on December 4. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
Blood Drive
Thank you to all who gave and/or volunteered to work at UNITY's Holiday Blood Drive on December 6! Your donation can save up to three lives! Our next Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, February 5. Click the button below to sign up via our Signup Page on our Website (look up Blood Drive in the 'Sign Up Now!' section). Please contact Marilyn Ranney, UNITY Blood Drive Advocate with any questions or if you need assistance in getting signed up. You can contact her by phone or email. Our heartfelt gratitude to all blood donors and prayers for healing for all who receive blood products!

Thank you to all who attended any one of our Children's Christmas Plays on December 13-14! And a special thank you to all of the kids who performed this year as well as the parents who brought them to/from practice. It is a wonderful UNITY tradition to watch our children tell "The Greatest Story Ever Told". Please be sure to keep watching this page for upcoming highlights as well as a compilation video sharing the good news!
Thank You For Ordering Poinsettias!
Christmas Poinsettias you purchase will be placed around our altars and sanctuaries to decorate for Christmas services. Flowers may be taken home following any Christmas Eve Service on December 24, and sponsors will be listed in our Christmas Eve bulletins. For those who haven’t paid for their orders you can stop by the UNITY office with payment or can also pay online through Vanco on our Donate Webpage. For any questions, please contact Matt Griepentrog.
Thanks again for beautifying our spaces and supporting our Sr. High!
Unaccompanied Minors
Unaccompanied Minors, a premiere a cappella group from Brookfield East High School, including UNITY’s own Kyra Jester, will be presenting a free Holiday Concert at the CTK Campus on Thursday, December 18th at 7pm. They’ve performed many times at our CTK campus and are always such a treat to hear. Come support some great local talent while supporting your soul’s craving for some beautiful holiday music. It’s a “score” for everyone!
Christmas Eve Services
O come, all ye faithful, to one (or more) of our Christmas Eve Services! The times and special music schedule are below. Be sure to make a note to join us at the service(s) of your choice for carols, readings, communion and candlelight!
These services are such a wonderful time to share your musical gifts in an easy group setting with fellow music lovers, and there is such beautiful music to share! Plus you can still join your family to enjoy the rest of the worship service. We are looking for woodwind players to enhance our 2:00 worship at the CTK Campus; brass players to liven up our 4:00 worship at the CTK Campus; and strings players for join in our newer format of an acoustic service at 10:00 (note: earlier time this year!) at the COL Campus. If you're able to perform at the services above and/or have a special solo or combo piece (either vocal or instrumental) you would like to share on Christmas Eve reach out to Lynn Key by clicking on the button below.
