UNITY Walking Group

July - August 2025

Come join UNITY Lutheran Church's newest group as they explore walking trails throughout Waukesha County every week, weather permitting.  See the list below for the dates of our future excurions (All start times will be 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted):

• Wednesday, July 30.  Meet at Blue Collar Coffee where we'll walk the local trails.

• Friday, August 8 - Elm Grove Village Park.  Park in the lot near the library.

• Thursday, August 14 - Fox Brook Park.  Meet at the Cross of Life Campus.

• Tuesday, August 19 - Fox River Trail in Brookfield.  Meet at COL and we'll walk to Coffeeville.

• Monday, August 25 - Mound Zion Park Walking Trail.  Park in the lot and we'll walk the trail.

Sheepshead Returns in September!

After a short break for the summer, the sheepshead group will resume in September on our usual first and third Thursdays in the Christ the King choir room at 6:30 pm.  Our first night will be September 4.  Everyone is welcome, even if you haven’t come before.

In September, we’re also going to try a day time group for those who can’t make it in the evening (or just can’t get enough sheepshead 😊).  Our first session will be Monday, September 8, 1:00 pm at Christ the King.  If you can’t make it on that date, but would still like to participate, please contact Mary Huss with the day(s) of the week that work better for you.  At our first session, we’ll discuss what is best for everyone moving forward.
