Give thanks to the Lord, because he is good; his love is eternal. 
~1 Chronicles 16:34 

Always give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus. ~Ephesians 5:20

You should always give thanks to the Lord. Think for a moment: what are all of the things that God has done for you? 

A lot right?! So you should say thank you. And give God your thanks every day. For example, every time you pray you can thank God for something good that happened that day. And when you sit down for meals… thank God for your food! Because some people can’t have three meals a day! Be thankful! And give thanks.  

What if I run out of things to say thank you to God for? 

If that happens…….. It’s never going to happen! You always have so many things to thank God for. You will never run out! If at times you feel like you’ve run out of things to be thankful for just say, “Thank you God for my Family.”   “Thank you God for my friends”   Thank you God for the roof over my head!”  there are SO MANY THINGS.  

But God isn’t really the only one you can say thank you too. Saything thank you is polite. You can say thank you when someone holds the door open for you! You can say thank you when someone gives you something as a gift! You can say thank you all the time, no ones stopping you!

Dear Lord, let me give you thanks...for my food and water, for the roof over my head, and everything else you have given me. AMEN
