The people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. ~ Matthew 4:16

Jesus came to us 2000 years ago, and walked with us as a human, starting out as a babe in a manger. His light was so bright, so full of God’s love; he continues to come to us today.  Jesus’ light comes to us in so many ways. Where do you see his light today?  Where has Jesus’ light dawned in our lives? It is so easy to see his light in the beauty of a child, or in the successes we experience, but it can be difficult for us to see his light when we delve into situations that are tough and very polarized. Jesus light is not divisive. It always brings us together, but we have situations in our world that seem impossible to come together on. Let’s start looking for Jesus light in those situations. His light is there, and when we look for it, the impossible becomes possible.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for your Son Jesus.  He brings us beauty and light always and forever. Help us to look for Jesus’ light and seek his light in every situation.  We know Jesus’ light has already overcome the darkness, help that light to shine through us and in us. Amen.
