I know the Lord is always with me… no wonder my heart is filled with joy… ~Psalm 16:8-9

What does it feel like to feel joy? Maybe you feel happy or excited, or maybe even both at the same time. The feeling of joy is a strong feeling. You may feel it when you have a new baby sibling, or when you cry “tears of joy” at a wedding. Joy is a good feeling, we feel joy at Christmas, or at times of excitement or happiness in our lives. The Lord our God gives us Joy and we thank him because joy is a wonderful feeling.

Dear God, thank you for creating joy and spreading it everywhere you went. Even if we might feel like we are in a sad and stressful time in our lives… there’s always room for joy. Amen.
