The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace. ~Psalm 29:11 

Glory to God in the highest heaven and peace on earth to all whom God favors. ~Luke 2:14

God wants our lives to be peaceful, so, to prove that he died on the cross for our sins. AND so we could be at peace forever in heaven.

God cares for us and loves us, so he still wants us to be at peace when we are still here on earth. Even though we sin, God loves us very much and wants us to be happy and feel at peace, even if it doesn't feel that you’re at peace all of the time…. THAT’S OK. The fact doesn’t go away though, that God wants us to be in peace. He doesn’t want us to stress. But we are still all human, and we all sin, so sometimes we do stress even though God doesn’t want us to.

Dear God, thank you for loving me and dying on the cross for our sins, and making sure that we are able to live in peace forever in heaven. Amen.
